The Barony of Caer Galen is the Boulder / Longmont, Colorado chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a non-profit educational organization devoted to the study of pre-seventeenth century culture. We concentrate on the Middle Ages and Renaissance periods of Europe; some members study the Middle East, Asia and other regions. The members of the SCA take the best qualities of the past and recreate them in the modern world.
